Ryan received a BA in Communications from John Carroll University, but always knew her true passion was in the beauty industry. She attended The Brown Aveda Institute and then joined the Bella Capelli team in 2003. Ryan has continually strived to maintain the knowledge and skills required to remain on the cutting edge of her profession. Her education outside of Aveda includes advanced cutting classes with the Toni & Guy Academy in New York City, as well as, training with the Vidal Sassoon Academy in Toronto. In addition, she was Certified as a Master Colorist by the Goldwell Institute.

Ryan has extensive experience in both cutting and coloring as she was promoted to Senior Stylist in 2007.

Ryan was licensed in 2003.
